Mikado is a restaurant part of the hotel J.W. Marriott in Cancún. This remodel project won between other designs based on the concept presented: Origami, the art of paper folding. In the interior, the colours changed and the decoration was based on forms simulating paper folded as origami in the traditional Washi paper with patterns.

The creation of this project produced more invitations for remodelling projects from the Hotel chain, the architecture office I worked for won with my help another 2 restaurants, a floor design, bathroom and lockers for the employees and others.
